ComingSoon is excited to debut the exclusive Scam Goddess clip from the upcoming Freeform show, which will be hosted by iCarly star Laci Mosley. The video introduces Kathe Swanson, a local city hero who uncovers the fraudulent activities of comptroller Rita Crundwell. The series is scheduled to premiere on Freeform this Wednesday, January 15, at 10:00 p.m. ET and the next day on Hulu.

What is Scam Goddess about?
“As a hit podcaster, comedian Laci Mosley knows her way around a scam. Now, she’s taking her expertise on the road, uncovering small-town swindles and big-city cons across the US,” reads the show’s official synopsis. “From Ponzi schemes to religious scammers to fake royalty, Laci meets whistleblowers, victims, and even the scammers themselves—tracking down the culprits with her signature wit, leaving no stone—or scam—unturned.”
Scam Goddess is executive produced by Carrie Cook, David Sloan, John Henshaw, Eli Holzman, and Aaron Saidman. The show will be based on the award-winning podcast of the same name, which is also hosted by Mosley. It is a production by ABC News Studios in association with The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC), a part of Sony Pictures Television.
Besides starring in Paramount’s iCarly revival, Mosley also made appearances in episodes of several comedy shows such as Single Parents, Kenan, A Black Lady Sketch Show, Lopez vs. Lopez, and Going Dutch. Mosley also starred in Netflix’s 2023 action comedy movie The Out-Laws, which was led by Adam Devine, Pierce Brosnan, Ellen Barkin, and Nina Dobrev.
