Paramount Plus’ new TV and movie releases for December 30, 2024–January 5, 2025, include 5 to 7, Aurora: A Love Story, Backcountry, and The Riot Club.
On December 31, the romantic drama 5 to 7 premieres on Paramount Plus. It follows a struggling writer named Brian Bloom who falls in love with an older woman named Arielle Pierpoint. However, he discovers that she is married to a French diplomat, and their relationship is limited to two hours a day.
Additionally, Aurora: A Love Story will be available on the streaming platform. The film centers on Kenny and Giselle, a couple preparing for their wedding. Things take a shocking turn when Giselle goes missing on their wedding day, leading to a story filled with lies, secrets, and betrayal that threaten their reunion.
Also arriving on Paramount Plus is Backcountry. Directed by Adam MacDonald, this horror-adventure drama tells the story of Alex and Jenn, who embark on a camping trip in the woods without a trail map. Their peaceful getaway is shattered when a man-eating bear attacks their tent.
Another addition to Paramount Plus is the thriller drama The Riot Club. The film follows two young men, Alistair and Miles, who are admitted to Oxford University and join the exclusive Riot Club. However, their involvement in the club leads to unexpected twists and turns.
